Happy Birthday Steve!!!

Because God promises eternal life to those who love Him, and those who believe in Him,... I know my brother lives in his eternal state.  Only his body (or whatever remains of it) is "resting in peace".  The Bible teaches that as soon as we exit this carnal existence, we're exported to God's presence or to Hell; a real and existing place.

Despite whether we want to believe that or not, it really doesn't matter in light of the Truth.
Molecules, gravity, love or the subconscious are truths that won't stop existing simply because we deny their reality.    It's the same with the Truth of the laws of God.

Today, Steve would be 48 years old.  Although, he wasn't meant to walk the earth for 48 years, God already ordained the number of days he would walk the earth just like the Bible teaches.  Just like all of us; our days are indeed numbered on the earth.

"Eternity is as close to you as your last breath on earth".

The days of our numbering are already set before us to accomplish what God has set for us to accomplish, and to impact the lives and hearts of those who He wants us to touch.    As so it was with my brother, Steve.  He touched the lives of those who knew him best, and because of that, Steve lives on forever; not just in the eternal but also in our hearts.     Who's to say that even a little one lost at childbirth won't permanently affect the lives of those who were anticipating his/her arrival on the earth?   We are meant to impact the lives of those around us, and that impact can last a lifetime ...

...  the lifetime that God has set before us to live in His grace and mercy upon us.

Lets never take that for granted.

I miss my brother.   My hope and faith is that we'll hang out together again and when I see him, he'll be healthier, stronger and more powerful than ever because he'll be how God meant him to be, before the foundations of the earth.   See you soon Steve!  :)
